In a January 23rd, 2007 special election, Chad Leonard conducted one of the most respectable and positive campaigns in the history of Dallas County Sheriff elections.
He promised us:
"As sheriff, I will not try to build trust just by talking about it; I will build it by achieving results, always with integrity and in a manner that shows real personal regard for the people I serve."
And he is keeping his promises. [ see endorsements ]
Chad went to work after his election, and the improved management and credibility have made a positive difference both within and outside the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.
For the first time in years, Dallas County has a Sheriff who is on the job and doing what he told us he would do.
A military veteran and experienced law officer, Sheriff Leonard is a Certified Public Manager as well as a graduate of the National Sheriffs' Institute and the FBI National Academy.
His credentials, his professional leadership, and his unwavering dedication and sense of mission are inspiring. He is as committed now as he was the day he became Sheriff... and so is our confidence in him.
Please help us re-elect Sheriff Chad Leonard in 2012!
